Come as a guest... leave as a friend

The Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding your knowledge and experience beyond that of entry level scuba. It is important to realize how important this type of training is. You may be thinking that you do not have any desire to become a professional so this type of training is not necessary. Not so! Throughout the STRESS & RESCUE, you will come to appreciate and understand the importance such training has on the safety of yourself and others you dive with. This goes for every type of water activity you peruse. Learning how to recognize and manage stress, overexertion, panic and being able to prevent it will only make you a safer more confident and competent diver.

The course is demanding, though realistic in its conduct, content and approach. Classroom sessions go into the application of information to the particular needs of students and varying environments. Remember the key to being a safe diver is anticipation and prevention! As in training in similar fields of emergency care, the primary objective of this course is to prevent the need for use of rescue skills. Interaction, discussion, variety and flexibility are all demonstrated on the course.
